HELP! My wordpress doesn’t do “Automatic Upgrades”
This has been bugging me for awhile… every time wordpress releases a new patch / version, I’d have that message reminding me to upgrade… but I’d stall… WHY?
Every time I hit the “automatic upgrade” option, it’d go on and on… and eventually stalls with no error message whatsoever. It used to work perfectly well!
If you’re in this same dilemma, I’ve got the SOLUTION!
- Get into your admin page
- Click on Plugins
- Disable ALL PLUGINS
- Perform the “automatic upgrade”
- VOILA!

i have had this problem before as well. Then i did a fresh install of wp and moved my data across.. Its usually some sorta conflict (plugins)
